The Makita BJR182 cordless reciprocating saw features a Makita built D35, four-pole, high torque motor with a 1-1/8 inch stroke at 2900 SPM that delivers 50 percent faster cutting that most of its competition. The BJR182 has a maximum cutting depth of 5-1/8 inches for pipe, and 10 inches into wood. An 18 volt LXT Lithium-Ion battery provides longer run time, 5x lower self discharge, and 16 firm holding contact terminals for constant high power. The performance of the LXT Li-Ion batteries allow them to charge in 30 minutes with 40% less weight and a more compact design. The LXT Lithium-Ion batteries also deliver 2.5X more cycles than professional Ni-Cad batteries.
Features the convenience of one-handed, fast tool-less blade changes and shoe adjustments. The locking system keeps the blades in place but allows you to change them easily. Has an ergonomic shape that fits like a glove with easy control and even pressure. Compact design of 17-3/4 inches long and weighs only 8.1 pounds for less operator fatigue.
