The BJR181 has a maximum cutting depth of 5-1/8 inches for pipe, and 10 inches into wood. An 18 volt LXT Lithium-Ion battery provides longer run time, 5x lower self discharge, and 16 firm holding contact terminals for constant high power. The performance of the LXT Li-Ion batteries allow them to charge in 30 minutes with 40% less weight and a more compact design. The LXT Lithium-Ion batteries also deliver 2.5X more cycles than professional Ni-Cad batteries.
Features the convenience of fast tool-less blade changes and shoe adjustments. The Makita BJR181 has an ergonomic shape that fits like a glove in a compact size of 19-5/8 inches long and 8.1 pounds for less operator fatigue.
