The Hitachi CR18DL 18-volt cordless Reciprocating saw is constructed with a triple seal design to protect from dust and debris generated during use.
The CR18DL is powered by a Hitachi 18 volt Li-Ion 3.0Ah HXP battery that weighs 40% less than Ni-Cad batteries and has 3 times as many charge cycles as traditional batteries. Tool body is compatible with all Hitachi Lithium Ion, NiCd and NiMH 18V batteries.
Some of the features the Hitach CR18DL has is a tool-less blade system for quick blade changes and quick cutting speeds with up to 2100 spm and a 1-1/8 inch stroke. A well designed ergonomic shape with a soft elastomer grip is slip and heat resistant for comfortable and convenient operation over extended periods of time. The Hitachi CR18DL also has an oversized variable speed trigger and foot adjustment for depth of cut control that extends blade life. Another nice feature on this cordless reciprocating saw is a reversible blade setting for reverse cutting.
The Hitachi CR18DL is one of the lighter cordless reciprocating saws with an average amount of power and saw vibration.
